1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the DhanRakh mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must be a resident of India or an Indian citizen abroad.
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Account Registration
You may register using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Description of Service
DhanRakh is a personal finance management application that provides:
- Manual and voice-based expense tracking
- UPI notification auto-import
- Budget creation and monitoring
- Financial health reports and insights
- Gold, chit fund, and insurance tracking
- Shop owner tools (inventory, debtors, invoicing)
- Will generation and estate planning tools
- Tax estimation and CA export
5. Subscription Plans

Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of applicable GST (@18%). Annual plans offer ~24% savings. Features are subject to change with 30 days notice.
6. Payment & Billing
- Payments are processed securely via Razorpay.
- Subscriptions are charged at the beginning of each billing cycle (monthly or annual).
- Razorpay handles all payment processing — we never see or store your full card/UPI details.
7. Cancellation & Refunds
See our Refund Policy for full details. Summary:
- Cancel anytime — retain access until the end of your paid period.
- Full refund within 48 hours of an accidental purchase.
- Pro-rated refund for technical issues making the app unusable, with proof.
- No refund for partial month usage or change of mind after 48 hours.
8. Will Builder Disclaimer
⚠ Important: The Will Builder feature generates a draft will document based on your inputs. This is NOT a legally binding will under the Indian Succession Act, 1925. DhanRakh is not a law firm, and this feature does not constitute legal advice.
You are solely responsible for:
- Reviewing the generated document with a qualified legal professional
- Getting the will properly executed (signed by you + 2 witnesses)
- Getting the will registered with the Sub-Registrar (recommended)
DhanRakh shall not be liable for any legal consequences arising from the use of will documents generated by this feature.
9. AI & Tax Disclaimer
⚠ Important: AI-generated financial narratives, tax estimations, and financial health reports are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice, tax advice, or accounting services.
- Tax calculations use current slabs and rules but may not account for all edge cases.
- Always consult a qualified Chartered Accountant for tax filing.
- CA Export is a convenience feature — we are not responsible for errors in tax returns.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for money laundering, terrorist financing, or any illegal activity.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our servers.
- Create multiple accounts to abuse free-tier limits.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the App.
- Upload malicious content, malware, or exploit vulnerabilities.
11. Intellectual Property
The DhanRakh name, logo (ध), app design, code, and content are the property of DhanRakh. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
12. Data Ownership
You own your financial data. We are custodians, not owners. You can export all your data at any time (CSV/PDF) and delete your account to remove all data from our servers.
13. Service Availability
- We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Offline mode ensures core functionality (expense entry, viewing data) works without internet.
- Planned maintenance will be communicated 24 hours in advance via in-app notification.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:
- DhanRakh is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
- We are not liable for any financial loss arising from the use or inability to use the App.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the preceding 12 months.
- We are not liable for data loss due to device failure — enable cloud sync and backups.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India. Before litigation, both parties agree to attempt mediation in good faith.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms.
- Your account shows suspicious activity suggesting fraud or abuse.
- Required by law or government order.
Upon termination, you may request a data export within 30 days. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms with 30 days notice via in-app notification. Continued use of the App after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
